I think the fact that I'm not really a teenager -- long story -- may have something to do with it.

I killed my mom. And my BFF's best friend. And my dad abandoned me to a boarding school.

And everything makes me nervous. I can bring people back to life...but I have to take a life for it work.

I haven't been able to escape the guilt since childhood. It's almost a familiar discomfort now.

These always help in a pinch. I compartmentalize. And ignore things. I don't think that's very good.

Anger isn't something I do well. It turns into spazzing.

I'm a mutant freak hated and feared by most of the world I have to go save like twenty seconds from next Tuesday. My roommate went home. My other friend went home. And my best friend/teammate is totally in love and preoccupied with planning a wedding.

And I haven't had sex in way too darn long.

I can understand that. I don't even know what it's like to live without it.

I distance myself, internalize and judge everyone else while I seethe in premature jadedness and guilt.

That might not be healthy, but it works for me.
