They're cookies. Kind of. Folded over so that there's a hollow with bits of paper inside that have fortunes written on them.

I'm from a different world than this one. It sounds like a fun concept! How do they get the paper into the cookie?

They fold it into the cookie before they bake it. You own that fancy restaurant in town, right? I used to work at a Chinese restaurant. I could show you.

When are you in? My mun is giving me disapproving glances when I go to suggest tomorrow. Something about radio, and something about coding that I don't understand.

She's also pointing at the clock and mouthing "evening shift." So I think this means there's some sort of freakish... availability thing.

Sundays and Mondays are the best for me.

Except for this weekend because apparently she's turning me into a... guppy or a fire-bellied newt or something to compensate for a camping trip she's taking.

Oh, Kuro-pii and I open on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and Tuesdays. Sadly, the Cafe is a little under-staffed. But that's all right. Sakura-chan and I ran a cafe together in Oto, before, and this isn't too much different.
