I'm terrified that one day, a Yevonite will show up here, and explain to all of you what they think Al Bhed are. What it means.

And then all of you will start giving me strange looks and muttering things under your breath and stop being friends with me.

But that might not happen either. They could show up, tell, and no one would bat an eye.

I try to tell myself that. Because ... none of you here have that hatred, those thousand years of thinking we're inhuman.

I still worry. Like maybe it's just written right there on my skin and none of you ever looked close enough before to see it.

...it's more likely, I hope you realize, that the Yevonite will just get tossed repeatedly into the ocean and then set on IGNORE forever.

Whatever a Yevonite is, it can't possibly convince me that you are anything other than cool and totally worth everything I say and think about you. Which is all good stuff, because you are totally neat.
