Well...he was a mean little boy who pushed me in the mud and so I was going to destroy his life as payback.

Um.

I think that's almost proportionate. But, then, a man tried to kill me once for crashing a party and kissing a girl.

Though you did get a fantastic song out of that! Sort of!
