as the fandom turns

So, the new kids have had time to settle down, the not news kids are still plugging along so it's time to find out what's going on! How's it going, denizens of Fandom? How are all the new students doing? Anything interesting happening with the not new students? How are the new alumni doing? New love, breakups, makeups, crushes, friends, enemies, adventures? What's going on out there? Tell the world!

... I think I'll be finding sand in my hair, and clothes for about another week.

Really not complaining, though. I'm happy, got a guy I love like a whole lot, new people to meet. There's nothing much to have a problem with right now.

Sand is better than glitter, though! It was fun getting the sand in your hair and your clothes!

We're kind of special, you know. We denied one thing for months and now we're denying (or, at least, keeping it secret) that whole love thing. It's like a game with us.

Oh, I don't know about that. The glitter was at least pretty!

And... as for the love thing. I think we'll get there eventually. I'm just a little cautious. The one time I did sort of say it, you looked so uncomfortable.

But, the sand was fun! Come on, that was a first for me here. It was fun.

And that time was...bad on my part, I'll admit. But, it was one of those situations where I kind of felt forced to say something due to the island being a giant bastard. If I didn't, the kids would have started to cry and well. I didn't want you to say it if you didn't mean it and felt forced. It's just no fun that way.

Oh, sweetie, I never said it wasn't fun. It was definitely that.

... That being forced to say admit feelings thing seems to happen with us. I'm thinking words need to be had with those muns.

Yeah, like they'd listen. That would make it less fun for them and easier for us!
