Dear FandomTherapy:

I have a problem. A serious problem.

I LACK EMO.

I'm beginning to fear this is making me something of an outcast here in FH, especially since the whole "psychic" bit ought to make me emo-by-default.

SO OMG WHAT SHOULD I DO GUYS? HELP!

WE LOVE YOU, MAN! SOMEONE needs to be non-emo around here!

For starters, you're way too cheerful and energetic. You need to start thinking about more depressing things like death, the futility of life, and the creepy Burger King ads. Stop playing lightball and take up professional brooding as a hobby. It's hard at first to be that dark and thoughtful all the time, but just keep practicing.

Do you have any dead relatives, especially parents? If not, kill one. Having a dead parent will increase your inner emo level a hundred fold. Especially if they keep coming back to haunt you.

Stop caring about things, unless they're depressing. Only ever wear one colour. JOIN THE DEEP THOUGHTS CLUB! Pout more. Snark at all those happy shiny people and their romance. Write bad poetry, especially the depressing kind. Buy at least one Dashboard Confessional album.

Then, and only then, will you truly be emo.

WE LOVE YOUR ANTI-EMO! You cheer me up!

Having said that, if you ever feel the need to be depressed, just find me on a bad day. I'll make you sad and talk in circles so that I can blame myself for everything! It'll be fun!
