I think perhaps you are making it more complicated than it has to be. But I'm sure you will sort it out.

Some of us didn't grow up going to Spice orgies! For some of us, this is all very new and scary.

And I probably will figure it out. There will just be a lot of flailing, wailing, and sulking first.
