My mother doesn't love me (no, literally, can't, has utterly cut out the ability to from herself).
My father does. Problem is, he's Lucifer.
Not that that's really weird since Mother is DEATH and all. Oh, and that part where the first time we ever stand up to her and ask for straight answers, she decides it's time to sign death warrants for us. Not that I canonically know about that yet. But WHOOOABOY, that'll be fun.
