My parents were killed in front of me in a freak meteor shower when I was four. My aunt adopted me, but when she decided to get married she was pretty quick to agree to leaving me behind and I really never saw much of her again.
And pretty much everyone I ever dated has either died, disappeared, or tried to kill me. Or some combination of those three.
