I don't tan, I don't love, and if I do either before Labor Day, I shall be most put out.

I'm even mostly untraumatized by the 'omg-island-of-vampires.' If anything, I'm a bit annoyed, because that Other-Emma had an older telepath that understood and helped her, and she could use our powers better than I can. I shall accredit it to better training and desperation making the best motivation, but it still rankles.

Any other trauma I may have is a pre-existing condition, and none of your concern.

I have faith that someday you'll surpass even other-Emma. You just need to find the right motivation.

Let sleeping baggage lie, Jack, at least for now. There's nothing you can do about most of it, and a girl isn't interesting unless she has a few secrets.

And I have plenty of motivation, now that I have a better idea of what is possible for me to achieve. Being inside her head gave me some ideas on how to proceed, and I'm already improving. I'm just impatient.

My player thinks I don't have enough trauma and seems to believe you can fix this. Should I be afraid?

Except I found out that Kerrigan was a teacher here and kidnapped a student.

I'm not sure which I find more shocking. The idea that Kerrigan taught to the masses, or that you're saying she kidnapped someone.

Honestly, I think it's the teaching.

I don't know. I don't think I can think ill of the woman, considering I'm rather sure what a different-her beat into the Other-Emma's head probably saved her from burning out or going crazy.
