Every character has one. What's the motivation of yours? Do they just want to be loved? Do they want to protect others? Do they want money, glory or pain?

Or do they just want to be accepted by an alien culture when they've been raised in another? Maybe they just want to honor their adoptive parents by joining an organization that has opposed your culture in the past?

Okay the last two are just for Worf.

I must grow up to be a strong and worthy Queen, to bring peace and healing back to my people. Also, my best friend is slated to become the ruler of all the blood, so I have to support her any way I can.
