Okay, that annoyed the crap out of me too. BSG has been *so* good with continuity, that when they slipped like that I was like "You BETTER go and reconsile that with what was said in season 1!"

For the first time ever, I say, "Bad BSG writer. No biscuit."

Well, technically, I'm not sure if they meant Sharon's parents died more recently than we'd assumed, or if it really was a gaffe. They never really elaborated on when her folks died. Though I could be wrong.
