I haven't had a breakdown in awhile. Do they help at all? Or just make you feel worse?

They're, like, cathartic. And they help with that 'no one pays attention to me' thing. Just, take it from me, don't run away to Alberta in January.

No running away, got it. Though, I've entertained the thought before. It seems like it'd be so easy to just run and not look back.
