I'm trying to be better about not whining about everything in my life to everyone in the immediate vicinity.

But, since this doesn't count anyhow (which is why my mun is letting me talk like a normal human being, thank god) -- what would you say if I asked you about the thing with Yurika? Are three words really *that* big a deal?

I am A) your neighbour, B) your friend, and C) would much rather hear about other people's problems than my own. Seriously, whine away.

And, well, it depends on the person? I don't say it very often like, at all, so yeah, those words mean a lot to me. I care 'bout a lot of people, and won't ever say those words to them. To me, those three words, are permanent. You can't take them back, and you don't get over it if the relationship turns bad later. So, yeah. I don't know. Have you asked her about her opinion on those words? Not, like, related to you directly, but in general?

I say it about everyone. In canon I said it about a girl who barely talked to me.

I know it means more than that, now. But it's ... I feel it can be, not taken back, but overwritten.

And that came up a long time ago, actually. She said she didn't do love, even for her family. What am I supposed to do with that?

I'd show her with a hug then, with a dinner, every time you smile at her then make it a non-verbal 'I love you'.

Just avoid the words for now, and 'say' it in other ways. You've said it aloud three times, right? So she does know that, so maybe for a bit stay away from those words. If she's saying stuff like that about even her family, then, really, love probably burned her badly in the past.

The thing is, I'm very good at pretty words. Pretty words are what I do.

I'm not sure what she sees in me, if she doesn't want those.

Romeo... seriously, you've got a lot of good points that don't involve pretty words. You're fun, you're hot, you're totally awesome for talking to. Seriously, I'd bet she's got a lot of things she sees in you.
