I would make a joke about how you could charge people to show them off except it sounds like bad people did that to you already.

To be fair, Bob Presto wasn't bad, he was just kind of an exploiter. Working with him got a roof over my head, food in my belly, and removed me from the threat of hobos that would beat me up.
