Yeah, I'm not actually surprised either, and I do like the work Miramax does. Just. Not so much Disney-proper, and I'm actually not a big fan of Pixar.

I know, I know, that makes me a heathen. We all knew this already.

And, well, me being me and working in my field, the creator-owned rights are the things I'm kinda worried about for all current-and-former Marvel staff. Let's face it, can they really make the MU any crackier than it already is?
