state of the characters!

In an effort to keep similar things together, I've moved our state of the characters post to the therapy comm since we do an IC version of this every once in awhile and I thought keeping the OOC version here might make more sense. Of course, the therapy comm will remain your haven for all those therapeutic posts you need to make, this is just me moving this particular update here since it's not really a meme but it's not really IC either. All memes will still take place in the OOC comm, of course!

Anyway, I'm sure you all know how this works (and here's our last one) but, if you don't, it's basically a post to give the game at large an update or a summary of what's going on with each of your characters. Romances, classes, upcoming plots, things you might want to do with them in the future, crushes, people you want to thread with, etc.

Feel free to include general end of summer thoughts, plots that came together, and development that occurred over the entire course of the long, hot summer. For the newbies, feel free to describe the first few days and maybe outline what you're hoping to do! And, the familiar example:

Umbridge: Sometimes, it's hard for me to play her because she's so intensive and tiring. But, she's having fun hexing students and pissing off teachers. I'm enjoying her games of give and take with Anakin and Wade, particularly. I'd love to see her thread more with Roy. She'll be leaving soon but not before a big explosive ending.

It doesn't have to be exactly like that but that's basically the gist. Feel free to reply to each other if you have thread ideas or even plot ideas. So, go forth and share!

* Might someday get his head around the fact that humans here aren't necessarily bigoted mutant-haters like they are where he's from. Someday. Possibly. Maybe. We hope.
* Is emo. He's trying damn hard to hang on to his emoness, thank you. It works for him. Silly boy.
* Has discovered that he hates introduction days with a firey loathing, and then some.
* And he's well and truly disgusted that all of the music channels on the telly play nothing but completely unrelated reality TV.
* Which reminds me, he needs to buy music. And clothing. His pants are going to start getting a little grotty if he leaves them for too long.
* He likes his roomie, Jak! And he likes Didi! And Karla's not bad! And he has no idea what in the world to make of Raven! And why in the world is every other person he meets a telepath? It boggles him so.

Zack:
* He loves you alllllll. Still. Ssh.
* He's also still so very awkward around girls. But he flirts. Relentlessly. Usually without realizing it.
* He's enjoying his role in the reserves and can't help but feel that it sort of makes up for the fact that he hasn't been called home for a mission since he left for Fandom.
* Training! Training is yay! With Deadpool, and with Anakin, and there are his spars with Arthur, and then there are the people who he has offered to help out, and he's a busy little puppy, he is.
* He well and truly believes in the great healing power of the cookie.

Tybalt:
* Is still a bitch. This will never change.
* And he's still bound and determined to get into Jean's pants. Silly boy.
* On the upside, he is slowly starting to pick up on a slightly more modern tongue, which will save my brain from great liquid agony down the road, and which also means that he'll probably start getting out more soon enough.

Algren:
* He's a freaking Samurai, okay. He's a Samurai who still has a couple of months of healing time ahead of him, but he's a Samurai anyhow. Considering the movie he came from is The Last Samurai, this is no surprise. But after having played him as bitterbitterbitter Captain Algren for so long, this change is fresh and new and really weird.
* I am also looking forward to this semester's Sex Thru The Ages course with Kirk. If only because somebody's brain is going to break come the end of the class, and Algren is hell-bent on it not being his.
* He's added "Leapair" to his mental list of words that can make him crack the hell up with no effort at all.

Reno:
* Is growing beans, guys. This is omg huge news and stuff.
* Oh, plus he's still a twit who thinks he's all that and then gets in trouble with the boss.
* And he misses his Rookies.
* And he misses the Posse.
* And he wants to come back to Fandom. A lot. Edge won't ever be home.
