Until I know that for sure, I'm going to doubt it and wonder and have back up plans that consist of me not being here should that happen. It's rash, I know, but it seems smart.

And I know I could probably make you sure of that just by telling you about all I've seen go down with Mitchell and how we're still friends. (Even if there is a lot of undealt with stuff there, still.) But that would require me knowing you're hiding something like that, first.

... And also, I can't tell you about that. Or, anyone else either.

And I wouldn't ask you to tell me about that just to put me at ease. That's not the only thing I'm hiding but it is probably the one that worries me the most. I don't know if it's easier to not tell you and know I'm keeping secrets (when I know how you feel about secrets) or tell you and hope you don't react as poorly as the person in my past did.

I'd say the easiest thing would be to stop thinking about it but now it's becoming important and I can't.
