...why does my player keep saying I need hugs right now? Seriously, it's freaking me out.

She keeps going on about everyone being stupid and bizarro alternate universes and denial and stuff. Kinda starting to wonder if I should worry about something here!

Okay, I'm not going to lie, but based on the premise alone I would READ THE HELL out of that Spike plot. The execution could be horrible, but I'm completely behind the idea.

Yeah, the thing is, that just came out of nowhere. There's been no explanation behind it; he just came crashing into an issue in a bug-piloted ship with no backstory about how and where he got it.

I think he's supposed to get his own title, but no idea if they're going to go into that, because god knows they've dropped about a dozen plot points.

Half of me is like "okay, she's like five years younger than him and she can't be much more than 18, plus she's kind of his surrogate little sister, that's a little um."

The rest of me is like "and it was totes normal when her sister at 17 was dating a 250 year old vampire?".

Conclusion: None of the Summerses are allowed to pick their own boyfriends. Or girlfriends.

Actually, Xander/Dawn is one of the few things I can get behind with the comics. All decent 20-something guys look at their friends' 15 year old sisters as little sisters, but Dawn always (well, "always") had a crush on Xander. I can buy the "whoa, college girl is suddenly not so little anymore" shift in perspective, especially given they did spend a lot of time establishing him as her confidante when she was dealing with being giant, etc.
