It wasn't... it wasn't personal. Ever since... well, ever since Evey and I had a spat, I started to ask more. Because I've learned that, well, what I think is obvious other people don't think is obvious. And what other people think is obvious, I hardly understand until they've told me for ten minutes or more. and she said I injured her down to the very core of who she was.

I don't want to do that with you.

Emotions aren't stupid because they aren't based on THOUGHTS. They're based on feeling, and you can't control them. so they can't be stupid. It'd be like getting upset at yourself for laughing when you're tickled. It's just a response.
