So. Apparently my on-again off-again girlfriend is traipsing around rebounding with Wolverine.

Seriously, Dom? I respect your right to choose, but... Wolverine?!

is this payback for promising i wouldn't blow myself up, subsequently blowing up, stealing a blackbird from wolverine and smacking him in the head with it, all the while not telling you i was alive? if so, i'm sorry. well, not for the smacking part. that was fun.

...So how about them exes, huh?

We were BFFs for five years, and then he ran off to do grown-up Jedi hero things (that's what HAPPENS when your dad is only the most famous smuggler in the galaxy and your mom was once Chief of State and your uncle singlehandedly restarted the Jedi Order and all of them are heroes of the Rebel Alliance) and left me bored on Yavin 4 until he came back and I refused to let him leave me behind that time. And then we had our first kiss while we were trapped and freezing in a storage locker on a ship, with an oxygen pack at minimum feed to survive the AIRLOCKING ATTEMPT. And then he got all awkward and weird.

THEN we both went on that kriffing mission to Myrkr where he managed to save everybody by getting himself burned out in the Force (and it's a good thing I don't actually know the gruesome "chain reaction cell rupturing" details).

AND THEN I SPENT THE NEXT FOURTEEN YEARS OF MY LIFE PINING OVER HIM, and got myself manipulated into being a Sith apprentice because of that.

It's almost like writers couldn't come up with a new plotline or something...

"Done that one five times already. Wait another series or two."

"New alien race from outside the galaxy?"

"Just did that one."

"Bugs?"

"No more bug trauma, or Legal will spaz."

"We could dig a new Sith Lord up from under a rock again!"

"Hmm."

"We could give the galactic government another makeover?"

"That one's a classic, yeah . . ."

"Play 'Kick the Solos and Skywalkers' again?"

"Let's go with all three of those!"
